I guess you are wondering why this is 1300SHIRAZ and not the Mount Vincent Estate website considering that all the wines listed are made by Mount Vincent Estate.

Well, we decided to make it as easy as possible to recall our name and phone number,

We had some issues with people remembering the 'Mount Vincent' name and contact details.

When we discovered that the rights, nationally, to 1300 SHIRAZ (1300 744729) were still available, we snapped it up. Whist we're not only a specialist Shiraz company, it is one of only two Australian grown grape varieties with six letters that lends itself to this treatment. The other being Merlot, and Australia is much more famous for its Shiraz anyway.

Once we had secured the number we then set about developing a logo to go with it. We chose O'Kelly and Associates in North Sydney to develop some concepts and the final unanimous favourite is the one you see on the website today. O'Kelly and Associates also designed and implemented this website, I hope you like it.
